Cantiliver Bridge Deck

The Water Street pedestrian walkway connects state government buildings and parking lots and handles foot traffic, snow, and deicing chemicals throughout the year. The bridge was shut down early in 2017 due to severe deterioration from salt and ice. To ensure longer life, the old walkway was replaced with prefabricated FRP decking.
