Here at Composite Advantage, we take pride in our ability to formulate new and innovative designs for our customers. Our revolutionary FRP composite material allows for unprecedented applications which replace outdated materials and will last for years to come.
One of Composite Advantage’s strengths is the variety of cultures, races, religions and ethnicities that are represented among our team of employees. We foster an environment of respect and cooperation that manifests in a workforce that is friendly, accepting, and most of all, productive. As a growing company, there is ample room for employee development and advancement, and we prefer to "promote from within." Advancement is based on ability, not race, gender or country of origin.
Welcome Dayton Initiative
Composite Advantage is a proud participant in the Welcome Dayton Initiative, a movement to integrate the culturally diverse backgrounds, skills and experiences of immigrants moving into the Greater Dayton region. Our company has hired numerous highly skilled immigrants from a number of countries and backgrounds to work in our facility and to contribute to our company goals.
The Composite Advantage team shows pride in the local community by participating in activities outside of work. Last spring, the Composite Advantage team joined others in the Greater Old North Dayton Business Association, local churches and community members for a “Clean Sweep” of the neighborhood. The Composite Advantage team started the day off together with coffee and donuts before heading off to help the community. After a fun and rewarding morning of sprucing up the neighborhood, the group met at Stuart Patterson Park to enjoy a hot dog cookout.
Our management staff is actively involved in the Greater Old North Dayton Business Association, the DaVinci Project (a neighborhood renewal initiative of CityWide Development Corporation) and supporting STEM through the Dayton Engineer’s Club Foundation. Composite Advantage donates used electronics and empty toner cartridges through Charitable Recycling to benefit Dayton Children’s Hospital, our neighbor in Old North Dayton.
Our Training Program
Composite Advantage stands out for our ability to manufacture large, technically complex products that few others can fabricate. We use patented techniques and processes that are unique in our industry. Understandably, most of our new employees are not familiar with our technology and do not have training in composite manufacturing. Composite Advantage has developed an intensive two-week training program that provides our employees the skills they need to confidently join our production team. They are given continuing support and resources after the formal training program ends to help them succeed. As valued team members, we encourage our employees to develop their skills, learn new processes and improve their understanding of our business so that they can grow with our company.
